Shall thyne world ende with a bang, or a whimpere?

For a band of would-be escapees of the cold Rock, death came as bang from above; PAF, PAF, PAF, PAF! So stark were the impacts that the floor itself was forevermore scarred, and even the hatred within the men was not enough to support them, and they died, their souls trapped in a narrow corridor of darkness off to the side, where not even the wind cares to blow.

So would many die, if the world were to be cleansed~
